Meet the Team
Through Restoring Earth Connection, we work together to bring our fellow humans back into connection with our precious planet. Together, we hope to help our community remember a truth we have always known about our home: the Earth is a gift, worthy of our gratitude, protection, and celebration!

Lynn Fitz-Hugh
After over 16 years doing climate work, founding 350Seattle.org, cofounding Faith Action Climate Team (of Seattle) and working for Thurston Climate Action Team for almost 3 years, Lynn took a new direction in climate work. In founding Restoring Earth Connection she is choosing to work on paradigm shift – and rebuilding our relationship to Earth, as the fundamental change we must make to address climate change. She sees undoing colonialism as a central part of the work of reconnecting to Earth.

Tyra Zeigler
Tyra is an Olympia local and lifelong resident to the beautiful pacific northwest. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's in Accounting and went on to work for the Dept. of Fish & Wildlife and the Washington State Legislature. She grew up surrounded by the majesty of the Cascade Mountains, Hoh Rainforest, and the Pacific Ocean, and too often took them for granted. She now recognize herself as deeply privileged to be able to witness these wonders up close. For thousands of years, the natural world has been our constant companion. But systemic injustices stemming from racism, poverty, and capitalism have worked hard to separate us. Through Restoring Earth Connection, we work together to bring our fellow humans back into connection with our precious planet. Together, Tyra hopes to help our community remember a truth we have always known about our home: the Earth is a gift, worthy of our gratitude, protection, and celebration!
